Minutes of the Authorisation Comittee Meeting for implementation of Human Organ Transplantation held

on 22.6.2007 at the office of the Directorate of Medical Education,Chennai.10

2. The Authorisation Committee constituted in G.O.Ms.No.287 Health dt.5.5.97 for the implementation of

transplantation of Human Organ Act 1994 have examined the Donor and Recepient(duly verifying their photographs

and identification marks) have approved or not approved for the Renal transplantation as noted against each

case at the Government Hospitals /Private Hospitals who presented the case.

3. The Head of Institution should intimate the dates of surgery of the approved patient to this Directorate

(Patient and Donor Name and Date of Operation) After the Renal Surgery the Head of Institution should produce

the donor between one to three months before the Authorisation Committee for Health Check up and for assessing

the Health Condition of the Donor.
